General
BBC
Radio 3 - Radio 3 is an
excellent service provided by the BBC that plays all kinds of classical
music. The programmes are very interesting and highly informative -
each week a 'composer of the week' is chosen where the composer's works
are played and discussed by experts. There is something for everyone
here.
Classic
FM -
Still a good radio station but not nearly as comprehensive as Radio 3,
tends to only stick to the popular classics.
YouTube
- A vast resource that allows users to view and post their own videos.
There are thousands upon thousands of great videos you can watch here
of great pianists through the ages, plus videos people have posted up
of their own playing. Be warned, though, that there are bad
videos
too with some poor quality playing and technique so don't take
everything on YouTube as gospel!
